1200% of the Performance at 5% of the Cost

A data warehousing benchmark conducted by a prospective Aruna customer pitted a multi-million dollar Sun Starfire mainframe-class multi-processor machine running an Oracle data warehouse against Aruna Companion running on a 4-processor Intel computer. Aruna Companion out-performed Oracle in every test. In 6 of the 9 tests, Aruna Companion out-performed the Oracle solution - which was approximately 4,900% more expensive - by an average of over 13 to 1 - with no tuning of the Aruna data store required.

In the remaining 3 tests, all of which Aruna Companion completed in under 10 minutes, Oracle was unable to complete - even after 90 minutes of processing time, which was the cut-off time for queries set by the company's DBA.
