Aruna Management Team

The Aruna executive team consists of seasoned industry experts. Lead by Jack Hewitt, the Aruna team has well over 200 years of collective industry experience:

• Jack Hewitt, Chairman and CEO - formerly Chairman and CEO of Aruna Plc and earlier CEO of Versata, public software company, with IPO experience. Held other COO, senior government and Chase Bank positions. 35 years of software product and system integration experience.
• John Greening, COO and VP Business Development - Over 25 years in the software and technology services industry focusing on large-scale applications, project management, and operations. As Partner at Earnst & Young, lead the emerging cable/broadband practice. Has held key positions at Arrowsmith Technologies (field service management software), and in other Information Technology firms in the customer care, helpdesk development, and project management spaces.
• Steve Atherton, Chief Technology Officer - 25 years experience in the areas of database and business intelligence, serving in product development, Sales Engineering and evangelizing roles. Recently CTO for ClearCommerce and previously in executive management with OnDisplay and Sybase.
• Hollis Tibbetts, VP Marketing - 20 years experience in marketing, sales and business development at leading companies such as Sybase, webMethods (now Software AG), and OnDisplay (now Vignette). Acknowledged expert in marketing of database, integration, and other enterprise-class software solutions. Most recently VP of Product Marketing at M7 Corporation (now BEA) and Principal at a private Marketing company.
• Tim Snider, Chief Architect - 22 years of innovation in information delivery technologies. Tim Snider was founder and senior technology executive of Innovus, architect of Open Text, and co-founder and co-inventor of Freedom Intelligence. Snider holds a patent on indexing methods, co-developed the original search engine used by Yahoo! and was a key player in the first successful indexing of the entire Internet. Snider is also a research associate at the University of Waterloo, specializing in data structures and algorithms for high performance indexing and querying.
• Brad Cowndry, VP Technical Services - Over 15 years of professional experience in the IT industry with leadership expertise in the delivery of enterprise data warehouse and data-driven solutions. Brad's knowledge spans many technologies, with strength in relational database, extract, transform, and load (ETL), OLAP, reporting, campaign management, and data mining technology. Most recently a partner and data warehouse architect with Clear Peak Solutions.
